  • There are a number of printable, downloadable, and customizable worksheets, signs, and labels to get your classroom ready and the activities will get your students excited to learn!

  • The coloring sheets are basic enough for very young students.

  • Students will enjoy listening to the poetry and responding to the prompts about their favorite things, preferences, and experiences.

Additional Prerequisites

  • Make a copy of the slides to make changes to the content, if desired.

  • You will need to print off the coloring sheets, labels, and worksheets from Google Slides.


  • Younger students will need you to read the content to them and they will likely need to respond verbally to the writing prompts. Consider calling on students at different points throughout the day.

  • Have advanced students practice penmanship and sentence structure with the included sheets for answering the journal prompts.

  • Use the Captain Climate cut-outs as arts and crafts materials to decorate your room.

  • The visual schedule and topic signs will help students at all levels know where and when activities areng.
