Summary
This four-week program is designed to enhance K-12 science teachers’ understanding of the factors that contribute to extreme weather events and how these events are linked to climate change. In accordance with the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), teachers will receive in-depth guidance on how to teach about extreme weather events, specifically those that occur in their respective regions.
