The layers, legend, and map navigation are incredibly user-friendly.
Additional Prerequisites
Students should know how to read a map legend and navigate an interactive map.
It may benefit students to understand what "State Parks" are and how they are different from other parks.
The links to the locations' websites do not work.
Differentiation
Students can plan a State Park and forest virtual field trip, choosing three locations to investigate.
Language arts or business students can create advertisements to persuade others to visit a particular park or forest.
Students can discuss the impact of climate change and deforestation on parks and forests.
Geography students can use the map to draw a more detailed map of their town or county, including the State Parks and forests.
