This webpage introduces readers to an experiential learning class offered in Maine, specifically Kennebunk High School. This program allows high school students to go out to their local area, in this case the Gulf of Maine, to make observations, collect data, and help with community projects. The goal of this course is to get students to think about climate change, see how they can be a part of the solution, and make meaningful impacts in their communities. This page does not discuss much about climate change and its impacts but focuses more on the students’ experience and what they learned.
