Synopsis
- These click-through slides from EarthCubs feature images, videos, and text to introduce students to gender inequalities.
- Students will see a Netflix video about active citizenship, a video about gender discrimination in India related to water access, and think about how prejudice regarding gender norms maintains inequality.
- The presentation also includes references to the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals.

- Teachers can use this presentation to introduce students to the importance of education for girls and women when it comes to the climate crisis. The video Women and Girls, You Are Part of the Climate Solution is for older students but can also provide teachers with the necessary background information to discuss this topic.
- This presentation can serve as an introduction to environmental justice and how climate change can exacerbate these issues. For example, increasing water scarcity can result in young women walking further and taking even more time to collect water, giving them less time for education.
- After watching the video about making a change, students can discuss the importance of civic action and brainstorm ways they can make changes in their communities.
