Synopsis

This interactive map provides links to state-level Climate Assessment Summaries for each state and territory in the United States, providing historical climate data, context for that data, and temperature change projections.
Students will learn that many states are seeing an increase in extreme weather events, sea level rise is threatening coastal areas across the country, and greenhouse gas emissions will have a huge impact on future annual temperatures.
This report was updated in 2022 to provide additional and more specific information for each state, as the National Climate Assessments only provide regional information.
